At the MCA Awards ceremony, held at the Park Plaza on 24 April, Boxwood won the prestigious Project of the Year Award for our work with Balfour Beatty. We also won the award for Performance Improvement in the Private Sector with Balfour Beatty, were Highly Commended in Change Management in the Private Sector for Guardian News & Media, and shortlisted in the Strategy category for our work with Travelex.
“Our work with Boxwood not only helped us secure more work with National Grid, we have also introduced the innovations across other contracts – benefitting our clients and making us a more competitive organisation.”
Commenting on the evening’s success, Chris Wakerley MBE, Managing Director of Boxwood, said “To be recognised for the breadth of our work and the results we’ve seen delivered, and to win the overall project of the year award from such a strong shortlist is testament to the calibre of our consultants and the expertise and dedication they bring to each and every assignment. We are privileged to work with such ambitious companies who are willing to take the brave steps necessary to succeed in today’s challenging business environment, and we are very proud that this work is recognised by these prestigious awards.”
Last night’s success brings Boxwood’s total number of wins at the MCA awards to ten in the past eleven years.
